Kevin Beaver
CISSP, Information Security Consultant
Principle Logic, LLC

Kevin Beaver, CISSP, is an independent information security consultant, author, expert witness and keynote speaker with Atlanta-based Principle Logic, LLC. He has authored and coauthored seven books on information security including “Hacking For Dummies”, “Hacking Wireless Networks For Dummies”, “Laptop Encryption For Dummies”, and “Securing the Mobile Enterprise for Dummies”. Before starting Principle Logic in 2001, Beaver served in various information technology and security roles for several healthcare, e-commerce and financial firms as in addition to numerous educational institutions and consulting organizations.


Pete Lindstrom
Research Director, Spire Security

Pete Lindstrom is the Research Director for Spire Security, an industry analyst firm providing analysis and research in the information security field. He has held similar industry analyst positions at Burton Group and Hurwitz Group.

In his previous position as a security architect, Lindstrom operated as the deputy to the Chief Information Security Officer for Wyeth Pharmaceuticals. In that role, he oversaw all security policy and compliance activities and participated on project teams for designing security controls for significant IT projects. In addition, he provided design and support to the identity management functions.



Ben Rothke

Ben Rothke is a New York City based security consultant with BT INS and has over 15 years of industry experience in information systems security and privacy. His areas of expertise are in risk management and mitigation, PKI, security and privacy regulatory issues, design & implementation of systems security, encryption, cryptography and security policy development. Prior to joining BT INS, Rothke was with AXA, Baltimore Technologies, Ernst & Young, and Citicorp, and has provided security solutions to many Fortune 500 companies.

Rothke is the author of Computer Security - 20 Things Every Employee Should Know (McGraw-Hill, 2006), and a contributing author to Network Security: The Complete Reference (Osborne) and The Handbook of Information Security Management (Auerbach). He writes a monthly security book review for Security Management and is a former columnist for Information Security, Unix Review and Solutions Integrator magazines.

Rothke is also a frequent speaker at industry conferences, such as CSI, RSA, MISTI, NetSec and ISACA and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) & Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), and a member of HTCIA, ISSA, ISACA, ASIS, CSI and InfraGard.


Diana Kelley
Founde, SecurityCurve

Diana Kelley is a security expert, strategic advisor, market analyst, writer and speaker with 20 years of IT security experience. Kelley founded SecurityCurve, a research and consulting firm, in April of 2003 to provide risk-focused advisory services to enterprises and deliver strategic, competitive knowledge to security software vendors. Previously she served as Vice President and Service Director for the Security and Risk Management Strategies (SRMS) service at Burton Group and the Executive Security Advisor for CA’s eTrust Business Unit. She also held positions that included Senior Security Analyst for The Hurwitz Group, Manager in KPMG’s Financial Services Consulting practice and Manager of Corporate Systems Administration for Dataware Technologies. Kelley co-authored the book Cryptographic Libraries for Developers and wrote the chapter on “PKI and Directories” for the book PKI: A Wiley Tech Brief. She is a frequent contributor to TechTarget’s SearchSecurity.com website.
