Deploying business continuity strategies to ensure reliability and performance of mission-critical applications

IT leaders fully understand the cost of application and service downtime, whether it is millions of dollars at stake in lost transactions or potential business failure due to the loss or destruction of critical data. Yet when disaster strikes, could your existing infrastructure withstand the impact required to fully support continuous, end-to-end operations vital to your company's survival?

Join us for this FREE IT-executive-level breakfast seminar, led by experienced industry analysts of the Burton Group. As an attendee, you will learn:

  • Critical success factors to ensure the deployment of a fully operational business continuity plan
  • The importance of gaining CEO and executive-level support to ensure success
  • New and emerging technologies changing the affordability of business continuity
  • Pitfalls to avoid to help minimize risk

Joop Janssen, Solutions Services Director at Stratus will highlight a case study of a major financial institution that has relied on Stratus fault-tolerant systems for more than 20 years to ensure uninterrupted system-level availability. But availability is more than just reliable server components and excellent fault-tolerant design. End-to-end business availability for mission-critical business processes is needed to ensure long-term success. When Stratus built a data-center environment based on CALM (Continuous Availability Lifecycle Management) Managed Services, proving we could deliver five nines of continuous availability, the decision to implement the solution was uncontested. This presentation will review how Stratus delivered the only integrated continuous availability lifecycle management solution on the market.
