Austen Clark Sales Director, Clark Integrated Technologies
Originally established as Clark Computer Systems in 1991 offering IT Consultancy services, Clark Integrated Technologies (CiT) has since evolved to become a fully-fledged Managed Services Provider. Austen joined the company in 1997 and, together with original founder Graham Clark, had a central role in the transformation process. Based in the North East of Scotland, CiT’s management philosophy is quite simply to provide outstanding IT support and services for its clients.
Employing 22 people, CiT describes itself as an infrastructure MSP providing scalable IT support and solutions for SMB clients in the Oil and Gas, Legal, Financial, Manufacturing and Agriculture industries. It has an international reach and can deliver support in mainland Europe, Middle East, Asia and Australasia. CiT’s professional help desk team of engineers acts as the outsourced IT department for clients. The company is also embracing the arrival of cloud services provision with the formation of a Cloud Integration team to deliver new and emerging opportunities via the cloud.
Austen is married with 2 children and a keen sportsman. As a keen runner and swimmer, he regularly competes in triathlons, duathlons and running events throughout the season.
Alistair Evans Director, Medhurst Ltd
Alistair established Medhurst in January 2005, focusing on providing small and medium sized businesses in the North West with high quality customer focused IT support. Now as a Microsoft Gold Partner and HP Partner, Medhurst delivers a wide range of services to its clients, from on premise virtualisation projects to bespoke cloud based solutions across a number of vertical sectors. Prior to setting up his own business Alistair worked as a Sales Manager for Medhurst Communications, their sister company based in Southampton. Having graduated from Lancaster University with a degree in History and English, Alistair’s first position was as a graduate trainee within the Hogg Robinson Transport Group, responsible for delivering a bespoke operations system project for the shipping arm of the business. Alistair lives near Warrington in Cheshire and enjoys spending time with his family and playing golf.
Xavier Juredieu VP Cloud Services, AVG
Xavier joined AVG in May 2010 and is responsible for cloud services including global partnerships, OEMs and technology alliances. He came to AVG from McAfee, a world-leading security vendor, where he was in charge of the telecom/service providers sector across EMEA as well as developing new routes to market via global strategic alliances. Xavier’s first venture into information security was as Sales Director at Internet Security System (ISS). Prior to ISS, he held senior regional sales positions with Siemens Nixdorf and began his career as a management consultant at Cap Gemini in the US. Xavier graduated with a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a business degree from Institut Supérieur de Gestion in France. Xavier is married with two kids and lives in Paris.
David Pritchard Research Analyst Manager, Business & Technology, GfK
David Pritchard is a Research Manager in the Business & Technology division of GfK NOP.
Since graduating from Loughborough University with a BA in International Business and French, David has worked in the market research industry for the past six years in both client and agency roles.
David’s experience has allowed him to work with a wide variety of clients in many different sectors, including consumer technology, media, automotive, financial services and retail. David’s key area of expertise is in brand and communications research, with a strong interest in the integration of technology into the research process. In his role, David is working closely with business and technology clients to improve customer experiences and to develop corporate strategies.”
Simon Quicke Editor, MicroScope
Simon Quicke is Editor of MicroScope, a position he has held for 6 years. He Graduated in Politics and Government, before pursuing a career in Journalism, where he took further study and gained a PG Diploma in Newspaper Journalism and an MA is Historical Research.
He has been a journalist involved in covering the channel for over 15 years and has witnessed many changes during that time and is in a good position to comment on the channel's continual ability to adapt and survive.
