A notice for public sector employees

Please Note: Representatives from both the private and public sector are welcome to attend the upcoming Impact Comes to You seminar, sponsored by IBM.

As the event sponsor, IBM is pleased to provide attendance at no cost to government personnel where appropriate under applicable laws and agency policies.

During the event, IBM will provide a range of onsite amenities such as a continental breakfast, tea/ coffee, lunch items and a prize giveaway. The total value of the amenities package is estimated to cost $64.00 - $96.00.

Given the ethics rules pertaining to government personnel, we've outlined several options below and would ask that you determine the most suitable course of action appropriate for your organization

• Pay the fair market value of these amenities by submitting a credit card payment to IBM in the value of $64.00 - $96.00.
• Receive an invoice in the value of $64.00 - $96.00.
• You are not legally required to pay for the amenity package.
